Baptism
We believe that all true believers are to be baptized by immersion as an act of obedience and a a testimony of their faith. It’s an identification in the body of Christ as believers are joined to Him in his death and resurrection. Baptism is a celebration of what Christ has done in the life of the believer. Lakeside believes this to be an important and meaningful ordinance. Membership
We believe in church membership. While membership is not specifically stated in the Bible, we perceive some semblance of covenantal commitment to one another. Membership is that for us. It's about being a part of our tribe, our family, our covenantal faith community.
