Missional Community Groups are where “church” happens. They are small groups of people who gather as a family throughout our city and region. They meet at various times each week. MCGs exist to care for one another, serve others, and live on mission together. We invite you to “be a part of the church.”

Jeff and I have been in Worthington for over 20 years, have been married for almost 40 years. We have 2 adult daughters with families. We have been involved in a wide variety of ministries over the last 35 years. We believe that sharing the Gospel and making disciples is a mission that we all need to be a part of. Missional Communities make so much sense to us. Working closely with a group of people, as a family, and being there to share the ups and downs of each others lives while sharing the gospel and learning how to follow Jesus. We are excited for this journey and to share God with the people the Spirit leads us to.

Reed and I have lived in Worthington for over 25 years. We have been married for over 30 years and we have 4 adult daughters. We have been involved in small groups for over 15 years and have greatly appreciated the support and wisdom that has come from these groups. We have been blessed to be around a mix of ages in these groups, and we have been challenged in our walk with the Lord. We strive to bring that experience into our group and to be blessed and bless others on the journey with us.

In this day and age, it seems like we are forgetting how to do community. It is fun getting together and digging deeper into each other’s lives. With community, there is no shortage of prayer requests. When you get to know people deeply, you learn about things that you can pray for. I like the atmosphere – it is very nonthreatening and the people you invite don’t have to worry about being something they are not. When you come to MC group, you can relax and be yourself. It is fun to watch God at work in this setting and you never know what God is going to do next.
Wally & Susan
Susan and I have been married for over 30 years and we have been blessed with three children (and spouses) and two grandchildren. We have been involved in various ministries in the church and have been a part of small groups for over 25 years. Missional Community Groups are a great place to hear the stories of others and to come alongside each other regardless of where we are at with God. It is a safe place to share, ask questions, listen, and learn more about each other and ultimately about the Gospel. This MC group is our family and we are so thankful for the people that God has placed in our lives. Our favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
