September 27 & 28, 2019

The Cultivate Conference exists to equip and prepare women as disciple-makers. This year’s theme is “Finding Yourself in God’s Story.” Through biblical teaching, practical workshops, and times of worship, we pray that you would leave (a) better knowing the biblical story, (b) more deeply experiencing God’s grace, and (c) further equipped to live on mission.

Registration costs $39 and last minute registrations (after September 22) will be $49. The junior high and high school student price is $19. Groups of 5 or more are $29 per person. Click this link to register!

The conference will begin Friday, September 27 from 6:30-9pm and will continue on Saturday, September 28 from 9:00am-3:30pm. Lunch will be provided on Saturday, and snacks and drinks will be provided both days.

Meet the Speakers:

Julie Hall spent her growing up years in Haiti, Canada, and Wisconsin. She met her husband, Rob, in college and then moved with him to Virginia so he could attend seminary. During that time their hearts were kindled for God’s people to live as family on mission in the world. In 2012 they felt called to help lead a small church plant in Colorado. They moved with their two daughters, Brynne and Brooke to Littleton, Colorado. Since then, they have added a son, Levi to their family. Julie cares for her children and her home, teaches private piano lessons, assists on the leadership team of Sola Church, and works part time for a non profit “pay what you can” cafe serving the vulnerable of Littleton. She loves to spend time in nature hiking, eating out at local restaurants, listening to great music at small venue concerts, and most especially just being with her best friend, Rob.

Sue grew up in the Midwest but moved to the Virginia coast in 2003 after college and marriage to her husband, Jordan. Through the initial years of seminary, local church ministry and starting a family, God took their plans for church planting on Canada’s West Coast and honed it to a deep desire for everyday discipleship right where they were. Sue has a passion for seeing women read the Bible well and grow in wholeness in Christ as they consider all of life as worship. She is helper to Jordan who serves as a pastor at Cornerstone Bible Church, and she loves her role as mom to Elyse, Emily, and Jake. She spends her time managing the home, interacting with church family and neighbors, serving her kids’ elementary school, and teaching piano a few hours a week. Her joys include time in the outdoors and at the beach with family and friends, perfecting the art of a loaf of sourdough, and a cup of coffee with a good book.

Lori has been a partner in ministry with her husband Chris for 28 years. She also works as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, serving the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities and children with autism for 30+ years. She has had the privilege of leading children’s ministry, women’s Bible studies, and has most recently, enjoyed coaching and caring for women leaders in church planting. During the span of her 28-year marriage to Chris, she served along-side him as he pastored youth, planted and pastored 3 churches, and coached and developed leaders in church planting across Chicagoland. They currently live in the city of Chicago, IL, in a neighborhood close to Wrigley Field. Her favorite roles of all time have been wife, mother to her three now-adult children, and grandmother to the most amazing grand-daughter in the world. Lori loves cooking, reading, studying God’s word, and considers herself a donut and coffee connoisseur.
